I learned to play CC on a Willson 3050, which probably helped me out as far as weird notes because I don't have any problems with the D#. I don't think that it's anything you need to worry about. The note probably isn't so horribly out of tune that you can't lip it. Of course, no one plays exactly the same way, and a note might be in tune for me, but not for someone else. Also, the mouthpiece you use may change the pitch and timbre of certain notes. I'm curretly using an Erikson ME4 which I had bored out, and I think it compliments the horn nicely. The only "problem note" I've experienced is a D above the staff. Using such a large mouthpiece shows because I can never get the pitch up high enough. All I had to do was use a 1&3 combination instead of just 1st valve. I have not tried the PT6, although I do hear good things about them.
