You even made me remember some Olds Ambassador trumpets and bones from the age of your kindergarden years.
They were of the pre-plasma-welding era, so less than friendly band legends of my youth had it that owners of these Olds models ended up with two piece instruments: a nickel silver flare in their left hand and a brass body in their right ditto.
