If you have absolutely no plans of eventually playing your horn as a CC, then to me it doesn't really make much sense to keep the horn. If you keep the horn and pay for an extra crook then you'll have a situation where you are putting more money into the horn, and won't have a horn as good as a factory BBb. Currently it has been my observation that used Mirafone CCs sell for more then used Mirafone BBbs. My suggestion would be sell the CC and then use the money to buy a BBb. Rather then costing you money, you're likely to either get a BBb in better shape then your CC or possibly pocket some money.
