Monday, Septuba 17: Studio Recital of Toby Hanks, Adjunct Professor of Tuba, UMD. Works of Bach, Hindemith, Shostakovich, Newton, Penderecki, and others.
The Prism Brass Quintet will perform the Brass Quintet by Etler

Tuesday, Septuba 18: Tuba and Euphonium in recital. Artists SSG Mike Forbes, MSgt Chris Quade, TSgt Brian Sands, and SSG Alberto Torres. Featuring works by John Williams, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Antonio Vivaldi, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and others.

Wednesday, Septuba 19: The US Navy Tuba Quartet and the Tuba Euphonium Ensemble, over 20 tuba and euphonium artists on stage!!!

Thursday, Septuba 20: Tuba and Euphonium in recital.
Artists Mike Bunn, SSG Frank Crawford, and The US Naval Academy Tuba Trio and Quartet. Works by Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Grant, Hindemith, Uber, and Hidas.

Friday, Septuba 21: The United States Army Field Band,
the Musical Ambasadors of the Army, in concert!!!!
Features tuba and euphonium soloists.


All performances are free of charge and we welcome new audiences from the university and surrounding communities. Performances are held in the acoustically and visually stunning Concert Hall of the new Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. For directions, call (301)405-ARTS.
