I may not be answering your question iun the fashion you desire, but here it is:

1. As someone stated eralier, most factory built tubas are constructed with the leadpipe mounted in the 22 to 23 inch area from bottom bow.

2. The older 2341's I have played mount in the same general area.

I am a fan of the DEG tuba stand. It is compact, and allows a player the opportunity to position the instrument where desired consistently. Tere are problems with the pad being looseable, but a careful person can overcome that problem.

The stewart tuba peg is also good, as far as reliable sources have told me. I am not as experienced on this tool, so I have no concrete information.
