They were built to last, but unfortunately they are built no more. When Denver Spence was a Conn rep a few years ago I asked him why they weren't made anymore. His reply was that they became too expensive to make in order to attract school bids (according to his boss). When I recently tried to strike up a conversation on the subject with the gentleman who replaced Mr. Spence, there was no conversation to be had about "former" products. It's a shame. I really think that they are great horns.
