Motzart Duet for Two Bassons (really written for Basson and Cello) fits the description you give. It is beautifully lyric, like those wonderful operatic duets in "Cosi fan Tutti" and other operas. The best source for it is "The Bass Clef Sessions" but it is published as a stand alone, too.

Another source I use for two tubas is a book called "Das Faggot," just full of basson duets all playable with Tuba andEuphonium.
