I started out playing tuba in the 7th grade. It was a big old Conn. My best friend next door also played the tuba. It was a half mile from our house to the school. We walked and carried that big horn back and forth from school almost every day. Since the horn was bigger than we were we hung it from the ceiling with rope so we could play it. 30 years later our parents still remind us of those good ol' days.
