Lew, is that 46" to the top of the bell? The seller isn't clear on that. If so, it might still be an Eb. But the 0.687 bore sounds more like a King than the 0.655 of a York, but that's only a difference of 1/32" and the guy didn't say how he measured the slide. Odd that the valve caps and braces are Yorkish and the ferrules on the slides have the York "dish" to them as well as the general layout of a York. And that stack connecting the bottom bow with the bell flange just looks WRONG for a BBb.

I guess that we won't know for sure until someone buys this mongrel and takes a toot and tells us. But it ain't gonna be me.

I just had this mental image of the same discussion happening 50 years from now when someone gets hold of one of Sam Gnagey's creations: "Yeah, it's a York bell, but the valve cluster is definitely a King..."
