Even if I am not even remotely considering Sibelius a relevant option, I have to thank you, because your link induced a process, that actually made Scorch work for me.
I only have taken a few peaks on a few of the compositions listed. From a pure engraving point of view I did not like, what I saw. Some like an open view with as few as possible pixels coming out black on a given page. That was, what I saw.
My choice is to get as much information as possible within the sights of my eyes, without cluttering. Finale lets me get an unlimited control of this aspect as of almost any other aspect of engraving. That my choices are open for discusions, is a point, which I am very well aware of. I even have opened myself up to attacks by giving a link to free downloads a fes posts up this thread.
