Just wanted to post a public thank you to Steve Dedman and Ola Ness. Awhile back I asked for help locating a copy of Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphoses. Steve and Ola were very quick to offer their help and for that I am very thankful. Steve sent me a very nice copy and even included a note apologizing for being slow!! I am awe struck and humbled(actually my own playing is enough to keep me plenty humble).
I have renewed faith in the basic goodness of tuba players.
If anyone ever needs help in any way or is passing through the KC area and needs an excuse to play duets and drink beer(optional but certainly a good excuse for the inevitable mistakes) drop me a line.
