welcome to the real world. whatever you do, don't get into a dispute with the conductor over this issue. that is a no win situation for you. instead focus on why you did not win the orchestra chair this block. have a heart to heart talk with your teacher. once you get out of school, talent will open doors for you but if you get a reputation as a bad attutude and for being hard to work with you won't even get your foot in the door.
