-A great horn. My father used one that was similar, but with four valves, for many years. Unfortunately, he kept it in the bilge of his boat for a few summers, which caused considerable corrosion damage. He kept playing it on banjo trio jobs for many years after he sold the boat, and it became well-known on Long Island as the "green tuba". He always used a gold-plated mouthpiece with it, which added to the effect. I have it now, beat-up but playable. I can't sell it for sentimental reasons, but I can't play it either.. sob
