The Conn2 has a more comfortable rim but it has shallower cup and smaller backbore than the regular helleberg. If you want a large helleberg with a very comfortable rounded rim (similar to a Mirafone C4 or Schilke 69C4 rim) and in a heavyweight design, call Terry Warburton and ask if he still has any of the Warburton-Neilan tuba mouthpieces. If he still has the blanks for them lying around, maybe he will give you a break on the price instead of having to do a one-off.
