My tuba instructor marched for Phantom Regiment in 95, 96-97 and has played tuba since 7th grade and ive asked him about marching contra, because ive been wanting to for a long time and he said that they weighed about 50 pounds and are in the key of G, that might jsut be the ones Regiment uses I dont know. I also know a guy that marched soprano 99 regiment and he also said that they weighed about 50 pounds, but if i am wrong im sorry im just going from what i have heard from veterans. -Ryan
