I agree completely about the playability of the 201, and am not surprised at the need for leadpipe repairs. It's just that there aren't many MT's out there that are even decent, so an OK horn like the 201 stands out as one of the few worthwhile models.

Marching with one, to me, hasn't been any more difficult than marching with a sousaphone (which not everybody likes either). A big weight on a shoulder is a big weight on a shoulder, no matter how it's shaped.
