Be careful about your air flow as well. When I first added euph it took me months before I finally got the hang of playing the horn without using enough air to blow the bell off.
Unlike some previous posts, after a few weeks I suggest practicing tuba and euph at the same time (well, alternating every ten minutes or so) to get used to the embouchure change, working on tone the whole time. This will make it easier for you to play both instruments in one day (which I find to be a problem).
