My very first tuba was ordered directly from tuba.com. I'll tell you now, if you want it to be a quality tuba, get it without the laquer, because you'll have to have a lot of work done on it to bring it "up to par". You can get a good Laquer job in the U.S. for $300, maybe less, but laquering the tuba would be the least of your expenses. I'm not exagerating in the least when I say "These are horrible tubas."
