The Holton HP model has problems with qulaity of construction and intonation. It is also somewhat small compared to other 4/4 models. The Hirsbrunners are known for their quality of construction, tonality and intonation. The high price is also due to what the market will bear, as these horns, even used, command high prices and hold their value.
