Someone showed up at our band rehearsal two weeks ago with a CB50. I tried it during the break with my Bach 12 mouthpeice and it worked very well. I watched him some during the rehearsal and he did pull slides a lot. That looks like the way it was designed. Apparently, the loops have too small of a radius to put valves on them. It IS a nice horn with some interesting characteristics.
