I agree with you Jay completly. And you can't jugde the horn untill you have played on it for a while. Personally, I like the sound of the old Alex and the B&S tubas a little bit more than the new Meinl Weston's. Now I'm not trying to dis on the Meinl's but in my opinion you can't beat that classic Alex sound. All I'm trying to say is that this might a exceptional horn. The probability is that it is a good horn and is worth around three or three and a half thousand but you don't need to be so rude in telling him this. This board is for constructive criticism and questions that you can't find a answer for so please keep it that way.
