If you would like to try one without paying a Miraphoney price, you can purchase a superb copy from a Schilke dealer numbered as the (thinly veiled) "69C4". This is one of Schilke's stock mouthpieces. I sell them over the counter at my store for about $50. Maybe someone else sells them for even less.
Personally, I recommend this mouthpiece special ordered with a larger throat (.312", maybe) and agree with the applications suggested above, along with 3/4 BBb's or EEb and F tubas. Probably, you would want to try it "stock" before you considered taking my advice on the throat alteration.
The C4-types sure do offer a lot of clarity. If you have problems producing a beautiful sound, this mouthpiece certainly won't mask them, but if you really have beautiful tone production under control, this cup shape is a lot of fun to use.
