Proteus 7 is a chamber ensemble consisting of 2 trpts, 2 trombones, tuba, woodwind multi-instrumentalist,and percussion. We do everything from Bach to Bacharach, and everything in between. The members of the group, Tony DiLorenzo, Geoff Hardcastle, Scott Hartman, Hans Bohn, Matt Gaunt, Charlie Pillow, and Feza Zweifel perform with major orchestras, Broadway shows, tv and movies, etc. We currently have 2 cds out on the Dorian label (For Your Ears Only - a collection of tv and movie music; and Cha Cha Lounge - a hot latin disc). We also just recorded an all Bernstein CD and will be recording our 4th record next week. We recently signed with Community Concerts, and will be touring in NY, NJ, MD, VA, WV, PA, OH, TX, IA, MO, IN, IL, MI, CA, MT, OR, and WA next season. Our prior concerts have included MA, NY, CA and VA - and we were recently heard on the NPR program "All Things Considered".
