Back in June I saw a beautiful, like new 12J in bright silver at Jenkins Music Co. in Midwest City, OK. The horn belonged to the store owner, "Ken". Asking price at that time without a case or bag was $3600. Their phone number is 405-737-7602.
Have you tried a 10J? I use one for small rooms and standup; for a small, lightweight top-action horn, it puts out a lot of sound and plays well in tune. The only real drawback is making intonation corrections - you can only reach the main tuning slide easily.
