Damn! I did this once and screwed up the posting. Second time better work! I just bought a St Petersburg from Die Tuba. I had to pay import on it and the case, so I do know that musical instruments have a 2.9% tax and cases have a 4.2% tax. Except, when my customs bill was being figured, the agent could find the case listing, so she just lumped it all together at 2.9%. I knew what it was, but when she was thumbing through that hugh book, I just played dumb. Which for me isn't at all difficult. I don't know anything about the Hirsbrunner availability, but if you can get one there, remember it will have to come home as checked baggage. That means you will want an excellent case to protect that wonderful beast. Sure wouldn't want it damaged when you get home.
