I was wondering if anyone could suggest other really great mouthpieces besides the steve mead /wick , bowman, doug elliot. I m pretty much done with schilke unless its on trombone. I was thinking of doug elliot but its so damn expensive and I'm wondering if any sound or resonance gets lost since its in several pieces that screw together, and not one whole piece. It would be really good because I do A LOT of bass trombone playing and am getting very serious on bass tromb. as well and I could use the same rim. Any pros cons or other comments or experiences with these mouthpieces that y'all didn't like?
