It has been over 25 years since I have been there. I went to high school across the river in Ohio. Back then the closest college of any size would be West Liberty State College which had a music program that supplied some of the area school directors.

Somewhat close was the College of Steubenville, also a Catholic school. At the time they did not have a music program, but they are now a university, so they may now. Otherwise, Pittsburg may be the closest. However beuing right on I70, there are a number of schools within a few hours drive or less such as OSU, Muskingum.
