I've just been on tour with my quintet in Texas--flew from Raleigh to Houston, and then on to other places--6 flights in all with the Conn-Selmer case(no longer UMI folks--it's Conn-Selmer) for the 2341/52/56J No problems, no worries. The only thing I did "extra" was to put duct tape over the latches to keep them from springing open.
Your mileage may vary, but I'm very satisfied.
