It really depends on what instrument you're playing on. The BB1 was designed for the Willson 2900, and it is a wonderful mouthpiece on that horn. One of my good friends (who is currently studying with Dr. Bowman) is using that setup and is having great success with it. I play on a Yamaha 842, and I tried the BB1 with it this summer, and didn't really like the feel of it on my face. It's too similar to a 51D, which I'm not crazy about. I do, however, happen to have a Lehman "M" mouthpiece, and it works very well with my 842. Be careful though, it is a HUGE mouthpiece, and takes a lot of air and endurance to play with. If you want to inquire further, go to Dave Houser's website. He's the only guy I know of who still makes them. He's who I bought mine from.
