The only trouble CC tuba gave me on S&S was the transcribed piccolo solo.
While in the staff, Ab to Eb up to Ab and down, throw in some Db's, etc, is all easier on BBb, fingering wise (it becomes mostly just lip).
Interesting how individual experiences always trample general conventional wisdom.
