By the way, I believe the current record for Pi is 1,240,000,000,000 decimal digits. It was computed last year at Tokyo University. Just in case you REALY REALLY REALLY want to know the circumference of your bell given the diameter. Or you could measure the circumference and calculate the diameter. And at this precision, you could easily tell if the horn was silver or lacquer or raw brass.
