the Miraphone 184 is back in production, these were GREAT tubas in their day and first reports from owners of the newest version is that they are EVEN BETTER! I had an '83 pitched in BBflat for many years that was an awesome horn. I don't think there'd be any arguement when I say that many folks consider the 184 the best "all-around" 3/4 tuba ever built! I strongly suggest you contact Low Brasswerks in CA about ordering one.
