Keep in mind what you're after when looking for a professional level horn. I played a Willson 2900 for 10 years, and loved it. However, about two years ago, I really found myself fighting the horn for the sound I wanted out of it. Adam Frey came to my school where I teach last year and I got to spend a day with him, and play his Yamaha 842 for about and hour and a half. In short, besides his really weird valves, I knew I wanted that horn, and I found one really cheap. I get the sound that I want, and I don't have to fight the instrument to get it. Now, I'm not promoting one horn over the other, it's simply a matter of what sound you want and where you're going to be using it. Take all the advice you can get and play every horn you can get your hands on. You'll find the right one if you're willing to spend the time to look. Happy hunting!
