Lee Stofer can probably help you. If the horn is rather short and squat, it is probably a vintage 1930's horn that was "DX"ed by the Navy Band system. I knew of a guy in the military who had a horn that you describe and Mark Stauffer had it's sister instrument, albeit with four front action pistons. Mark's was a very nice instrument, never played the other guys. Good Luck.
