don't miss the opportunity to hear one of this country's premier brass ensembles,
the american brass quintet, and participate in a workshop with them. they are appearing this friday, october 10 at 8pm in brendle recital hall at wake forest university.
a workshop for you is scheduled from 10am to noon on saturday, also in brendle hall. bring your instrument with you. there is no charge.
tickets for the concert are priced at $18 for adults and $15 for senior citizens and non-wake forest students. tickets for children under twelve are $5. call the theatre box office at 336-758-5295 for credit card sales.
a pre-concert lecture, by dr. nola knauss, director of the moravian music foundation, will be at 7:10pm in room 208, adjacent to brendle hall. as some of the music on the program will be that of the abq's recent cd, "a storm in the land: music of the 26th nc regimental band, csa" her talk is titled "music of the civil war: can we talk?"
