The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (mhopus.org) exists to help situations like yours. VH1 Save the Music is another resource. If you are willing to write grant proposals, there are a lot of benefactors out there. supportmusic.com has lots of music advocacy materials and links on their site. See if you can organize other band parents to work with you.
