I play a newer one (ca. 1994), and it's a sweet horn, but I am ready for something with more reliable intonation, a 5th valve(!), and something with not so large a bore. This horn is a monster when trying to play Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet (which the Temple University Symphony Orchestra will be playing this coming Sunday (AT) 2:00 PM...Centennial Hall, Haverford School). Matt Walters helped me by providing me with a gap receiver that Cerveny offers now to correct this somewhat. Without that graduated bore, it's just a mother to play sometimes....

But then again I'm a wimp....(a wimp that sounds DAMN good on a MW 2000...man...anyone got $12.5K lying around?)
