I am under the impression that the King valve set was used for the 5Xj series. They both have the same primary bore size - .687. The taper at the 4th is .734 - a difference of .047 which is not that great, I think. Since I haven't measured my horn, I can't say for sure, but if the main tuning slide tapers out to that dimension or greater, the whole thing would be doable by modifyng the main tuning slide for the larger bore. The rest should be no big deal since the valve set is already in production and adding some extra tubing shouldn't be that big a deal either. I'd be willing to pay a FEW bucks more for a horn like that.
