I used to have one in good, playable condition. It was a real heavy (44lbs). Had a huge bore size, you could really only play it loud and it could do the job of 3 regular sousaphones. I had to sell it because I didn't have all that many gigs that were appropriate for sousaphone and my wife didn't like me keeping it at the house-it just took up too much room.
