I think that a general rule about Cerveny tubas (even more than with other brands) is that you should play them before you buy them. I own a Cerveny Piggy CC that is one of the best small CC's I have ever played. I lucked out when I found it because it is so good and it was so inexpensive. I've only played one other Piggy in my life and it was pretty bad. So, if you have the opportunity to play-test it, then do it. You can end up finding a fantastic tuba at a very good price.
