I'll confuse you a little bit more.

The real books also come in transcriptions for your key, such as treble cleff C, Eb, Bb, and bass clef C. The real pros usually all read out of the treble clef C book, even if they are transposition instruments. The reasoning is that most likely the piano player will be one of the only ones there with a book, and they will have treble clef C. Also, if you call out chord changes to a group, you had better be calling them out untransposed.
This is not a problem for tuba/bass cleff euphonium players as such, but the intrenational understood language as such is C. Learning to read the trebble clef part is interesting if you don't already know.
