I think the Meinl Weston 2145 is a very fine all-purpose tuba. Mouthpieces: I use a PT-50 for orchestra, and a Melton 24AW for quintet. I really like my 2145. The hand span required for the big valve set is a problem. Emptying the condensation is another problem. The tone of the 2145 is to die for. It's a great tuba.
