Good advice Tom! Did we buy our Bessons at the same time (On the trip to the Austin ITEC)? I sold my Boosey Eb about three years ago and got roughly $3000.00 for it. It wasn't in perfect shape (dings and dents) and it didn't play so incredibly well that I felt it was a special example of the model. These Eb tubas are becoming much more expensive these days. I was shocked to see the price tag for a Yamaha 321 Eb recently. When I bought mine new in 1982(?), I paid $1400.00 for horn and case. They are MUCH more than that now. I guess that must be inflation.
