Alec Wilder's Sonata for Tuba and Piano was written for Harvey Phillips and appears on Harvey's first solo album-- Harvey Phillips, Tuba-- on Golden Crest Records RE 7006. All of Harvey's recordings on Golden Crest are out of print, and the record company has been out of business for some time now. Mr. Phillips is in the process of obtaining the rights and making these recordings available on CD, along with some others-- including the Bill Bell and His Tuba album. I can dub you a cassette copy of the Wilder piece. Feel free to email me privately.
