Took a look at the NO97 3/4 BBb 3 top piston at

http://www.feolds.com/descriptions/descripTubas.htm#NO97

In the enlargened, and mirrored, version of the picture at

http://www.feolds.com/images/tuba/no97.jpg

I found some traits of the wrapping, that made me look at:

http://www.amati.cz/english/production/instruments/ptubas.htm (model ABB223) and

http://www.amati.cz/english/production/instruments/files/abb/abb_223g.htm.

There are minor issues about differences in trim and about less than precise transfers between metric and imperial measuring units.

But I hardly would call this model a stenciled Yamaha.

And when I read the two last paragraphs of text on

http://www.feolds.com/mainPages/history.htm

I find it hard to take serious in the light of my findinds at the pages quoted above.

PS: Sorry for running you through the cut-and-paste mill, but I did see no other way in the light of the number of links.
