Any mouthpiece will allow a focussed sound, so don't get too caught up in the mouthpiece solution. You could spend hundreds of dollars and still sound the same.

That being said, it is also possble that there is a mouthpiece which better matches you, your horn, and your playing situation(s) than your current one. The Bach 18 is a pretty standard mouthpiece and is not a "bad" one by any means. Helleberg is a style of mouthpiece and not a brand. It refers to the general funnel shape of the inside of the mouthpiece. The other general style is a bowl. A common funnel mouthpiece would be the Shilke Helleberg II or the Perantucci PT-50. A common bowl shape would be the PT-88.

Which one is "best" depends entirelly on how you sound when using it. Second most important is how easy it is play on and get the sound you are after. Other criteria are the broken down parts of playing that it affects such as articulation, intonation, feel on the face, etc.

Recommending a mouthpiece is like recommending the best flavor of soup. There are more common varieties and less common, but we all choose our favorites based on personal tastes.
