All info posted by others in this thread is correct. The DW xL mpc has a standard shank. If you order one w/o the "L" it is for a VERY small shank receiver.

Here are the specs from the DW mpc brochure, for sake of comparrison:

1/1L has an inside diameter of 32.5mm -- same diameter as a PT-72in between a Bach 18 and a Bach 12, but with a sharper inner rim edge, though not as sharp as a Conn Helleberg, which is also about the same as a Bach 12 but feels a little smaller to me. Rim width is 7.48mm, bore is 8.43mm.

2/2L has an I.D. of 32mm, rim width of 7.73mm, bore of 8.45mm (slightly smaller than a Bach 18, same as a PT-64, but feels very different because the PT-64 rim width is 9mm and very rounded. (I used this one with my Besson 983 Eb for everything except extensive low register playing, where a PT-72 worked much better for me.)

3/3L has an I.D. of 31.25mm, rim width of 8.11mm, bore of 8.78mm (similar to Bach 24AW)

3SL (solo mpc only avail. w/ large shank) has same diameter and rim, but a smaller 7.62mm bore, and a shallower cup.

4/4L has I.D.=30.5mm, rim width=6.89mm, bore = 8.27mm

5/5L has an I.D.= 30.0mm, rim width= 7.14mm, bore= 7.89mm
