We JUST got our first one in stock TODAY.

It is a virtual CLONE Of the Yamaha 321...except ( very curiously) the Weril 980 does NOT "stink" in the range from the middle of the staff up, as does the Yamaha 321.

Incidentally, this Weril tuba has traditional "slot" valve guides, rather than the Weril disc-and-stick valve guides found on their other instruments. I found the piston tolerances on this instrument to be the best yet that I've seen on Weril tubas/euphoniums, btw.

Its a really really fine school grade 4/4 4-piston tuba, and at a G-R-E-A-T price(probably somewhere in the upper-middle $2XXX range...[wow]).

Just like the Yama-321, the valve section "unbolts".

I post pics of it tomorrow, and comment on quirks, once I spend more time playing it using a tuner, etc. !
