The book you're looking for was self-published Chris Leuba around 1960. I bought a copy from him while I was a student at Northwestern. It's really no more than a slim treatise, unbound, it's pages stapled together. It does contain valuable insights on intonation, makes for interesting reading, and practical application. I know I have it somewhere, but where o where?

I suggest you try this link http://www.hornsociety.org

I haven't explored it myself, but as another poster indicated, Mr. Leuba is still active in the Seattle area of the Pacific Northwest. You will need to track him down personally, but the internet provides this possibility. And I hope that Mr. Leuba will be sufficiently flattered by your interest to help you secure a copy.
