I use the Gronitz PCM INSTEAD of the HB; I like it much better. I recorded 'Tubby' on it because it is freer blowing and a more LIVE sound, if you know what I mean. I feel more 'in touch' with this tuba than I do with the HB, Honestly, you would have to play it for yourself. Barry Guerrero came over this weekend and said (Do I have this right, Barry?), "Best tuba I've ever played." I used the HB this week in ballet, because i didn't want to damage the Gronitz, and when I got home each day, I practiced the Gronitz ; I just really LOVE these tubas. I'm gettting 3 - 125 F's in, and 4 PCK (6/4, 4+1) next month, hopefully.
